Its usage:

1. It is used in the treatment of Skin diseases of Pitta origin.
2. It is used in herpes, pigmentation, nonhealing wounds, sinus tracks, abscess, and boils.

4. It is effective in psychiatric conditions, heart diseases, and eye diseases.
5. It is used to heal fistula wounds, menorrhagia
6. It is effective in toxic conditions.

Effect on Tridosha – Balances Vata, Pitta and Kapha at the level of skin. It has its main effect on Pitta.
